With my Small alien I have put him into mudbox to apply the high detail. I then toook the high poly model and put it into topogun to redo the topology to get the best model to match the highpoly sculpt. This was my first time using topogun and it was very useful. Once I got the hang of it it was very quick and I got good quality topology. I then but the model back into max to do some final touches then unwrap it and project the highpoly mudbox model onto the lower poly. I still need to finish the helmet.
